At first contact, Haze seems to me "normally" damn. It is something else. But everything is there and we did not feel uncomfortable. The Tolex is well bonded, the pediment nice, the buttons seem correct and we have not forgotten the system biasage found since TSL100 (but inside the Haze). To stay in domestic criteria, you will not find, however, no transformer wound by hand, no big fat wire or transistor good bill this head is stripped. SOUNDS

On the manual, Marshall us with a nice "inspired sound of the Seventies&#39;s"! But there are wider media, fatter, too, with highs more variable, ranging from fairly mild to aggressive depending on the setting. But with a more cheap and dirty sometimes see primitive.

The overdrive section covers a wide range of applications. The sound seems consistent with a dynamic rather direct (hard). Sensitivity to hitting is good for an amp of this class, is sufficiently detailed and forgive a little errors (to understand: not completely detailed anyway). The sound is compact and the distortion is rather smooth (do not mix with very good). The switch changes over the bright presence that meet the treble on that channel.

The clean simple does not pull bricks. It is oriented vintage and a little analytical for my taste when compared to what we know about the brand. By activating the switch on the other hand bright, treble overflow quickly. One can, in this mode, quickly get the crunch and there are sounds reminiscent of old Fender. A mix between a bit jtm45 and super reverb. The very lively. Perfectly in place for the old LedZep, blues or funk nasty. But no one knows the size of the original amps that time.

MY BIG SURPRISE:
was the effectiveness of integrated effects which were very good. The echoes are a good compromise between warmth and clarity, the choruses are full, as the reverb elsewhere. Really cool except for a sort of hiccup when switching between some certain effects.

[7] Haze has nice sounds that are certainly not the hallmark of what is happening in Mojave, Top Hat, Rockytop, Buddha or Gabtone (eg .. but y &#39;are others), but will be sufficient for the lovers of this kind of sounds that have a tight budget.

OVERALL OPINION

Marshall offers a serious competitor in the low-end amps tube. His reputation and the publicity machine should both help to popularize the craft quickly. For this price, the sounds are good for what it is possible to get for that price too. For what it is possible to have the market there is naturally better, but at twice the price.
