This is the first model that I use monitoring controller.
Ability to manage two sets of speakers or a pair + sub with choice of cutoff frequencies, analog input, digital S / P-DIF or via firewire in sound card. Volume knob, 3 LED status.
Headphone output with separate volume knob.
Two buttons to activate the speakers, a treatment to activate the selection focus, global or untreated.
Installation is easy and requires a computer, the calibration is easily one is well guided.
The software correction of the play is a strong point, the analog input and faithful little Ignition clicks on and off are its weaknesses. We also noted some of the numerical control volume if you turn too fast effect is felt by bearings. In the weak point can be also noted that stability in firewire can be average. When will the fix?
I use it only in S / P-DIF and the quality of the converter is honest, the treatment allowed me to delete a flutter in a blatant piece or I've used. Overall listening is really optimized, the volume knob is very accurate is more significant.
e know of no other device using this technology, calibration with a minimum of 3 different takes, really remarkable.
I would do this choice without hesitation.
