«  Mine was unreliable »

Published on 03/08/11 at 05:08

* For how long have you been using it?

Used for three and a half years of sporadic as amply stereo (with a Behringer 800 as MINIMON line preamp / headphone selector and sources).

* What thing do you like most/least about it?

His qualities as amply hifi / studio is quiet (no fan), relatively strong for this purpose (2x160W into 8 ohms), seemed rather bland musically. The housing and assembly are a reassuring solidity. HP plugs are models that accept screw bare wire or banana plugs (after removal of small plugs central catch). Jacks also Outputs. The inputs are on phono or RCA jacks (balanced or not) or XLR.

Defects are: mine was not reliable: random spitting on the right track after three years, not related to the potentiometer input, more and more frequent until it is unusable. It has not yet been subjected to torture issue Use: Indoors on a pair of Behringer Truth 2030P (the module of impedance of the test is not insurmountable) listened to 2 or 3 meters often moderate volume. The plastic front (like buttons potentiometers) can be fun for some but a little fragile and low-end.

* Did you try many other models before getting this one?

quite a hifi amp or current audiophile Class A or AB, mainly transistors

* What is your opinion about the value for the price?

As he was walking: good or very good.

* Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
