I used to only buy planet waves cables and these were the only ones I used to buy. They have upgraded them since and I believe they are better now. Previously the jacks were compressable so that it'd be a tight fit in the input jacks of amps and guitars which is nice so it won't fall out lose however, they were so tight and after time they would wear down the input jacks themselves and eventually strip them. This became a bit of a problem and as far as I've heard they have improved that. However the quality of the cable is quite nice, I haven’t had any jacks rip or tear or bust or come unsoldered etc. The cable itself is ok too but it is definitely still prone to being tangled which has always been a problem with cables since day one. The more kinks you create the more you wear down the cable, of course there is no REAL solution for this aside from wireless units or coily cables, which I think the latter is quite effective. However besides that the PW cables are a definite improvement in quality and sound above the free one you get when you buy your first guitar. I would definitely look into these cables for home use or if you’re okay with tangling cables as a hobby (ha!). Yes there is a bit of a tonal difference between the gold plated ends and nickel plated ends however I am not completely convinced that it’s worth the difference in price versus the tone so I can’t judge that to be honest. When I look for cables I look for longevity, I want the cable to last forever and be versatile for both live and the studio, and my theory is if it’s good for live it’s definitely good for studio. These are worth looking into for an upgrade for beginners or intermediate players I’d say. But they still tangle, so it’s up to you in the end.

This cable is very good, the noise level is the highest I've ever known, the signal is clear, no noise, a very good answer, it's a treat!

Good ergonomics, and it does not move, no risk of disconnection!

When I compare a Yellow Cable (supplied with a digital effects pedal not so good) it's very funny, it's really pressure, it's really much better, if you have a good guitar, do not spoil the pleasure, for 25 or 30 euro is the happiness!

To tell you my bass player bought me the same as two weeks after I bought mine, like what!

In terms of durability I do not bet a whole is experiencing a robust, I manhandled my own and it will not be 5 years I think. . . (2 years for my old one Trition is already better!)

I have - finally! - Acquired the cable after this afternoon, after arriving at the conclusion that my Vox AD30VT grsillements were indeed the instrument cable: in fact, undesired movement caused the cracking strength of sagrables ...

In short, I go home, and I just hope not to meet cracking. But what a surprise! I plug in, and not a sound O_O I wondered if I had any branch and turned on the amp, which usually was a "bzzz" background noise ...

Going back to cable: dj dballage anything that is impressive, the cable PSE heavy! Of the shield is, in fact. There is a sense of dealing a quality product and this verifies the connection!
- Connectors are sleeping, and a protrusion preventing cable to unplug inopinment. We'll see for durability, but I'm not too worried the above ^ ^

My opinion is probably not do much as it may resemble the previous ones, but the cable was so bluff I take the keyboard to say all the skeptics of opinion "too good 10/10 buy it ", which I am usually that is not pipo! It's not for nothing that many pros use them!

As for the price ... 26 6m sews it's expensive (for an individual without prtentions), but it was worth our money. Especially since it's guaranteed life, so why go without if your current cables are not suitable? You certainly redcouvirez your hardware!

I've been using Planet Waves CGT-10 instrument cables for about seven or eight years. I have a number of them and they are a mainstay in my guitar set up. I have found these cables to be beyond reliable. I have never had one break, and the gold tips ensure a good sound and solid connection. While they are a bit expensive for a cable, it is well worth it because they will last you forever (or at least a pretty long time). I also use these for keyboards and bass guitars, and pretty much anything that I need a mono instrument cable for. I have used them both in the recording studio and live on stage. These are perfect for both situations as they are both high quality and will send your signal cleanly, but are also sturdy and can take a beating if you need to bring them on the road. These cables are built extremely well, with solid casing on the ends to ensure that the insides are safe and secure. It is well made all around and I would have a hard time breaking this as the important parts of the cable are pretty well hidden underneath the protective layer. Planet Waves also ensures these cables for life and will replace yours if it breaks. I have never had one of these break so I have never tried to get one replaced though. I would compare these cables to that made by Monster. Both are made at an extremely high quality and are similar in price. Monster also will guarantee their cables for life. I can't really say if these are better than Monster cables as I think they are both elite and extremely high quality. I just happened to use Planet Waves cables first. These cables have served me well and I would definitley recommend them to anyone in need of some instrument cables.
