« More support for Avid »
Published on 01/31/13 at 03:30I MCMIX the past two years now, it is not without defect, fragility, stability EuCon software, loss of connection between the computer and the surface. But it was a pretty good controller with unfortunately too little developer EuCon protocol that integrates their software. Forcing to emulate the Mackie Control or HUI.
Except that since Avid bought Euphonix support is nonexistent. The latest version of EuCon software dates back to 2011, bugs galore, a compatibility problem with Mac OS 10.8 (and 10.7) and impossible to use with the Macbook pro retired ...
Display problems in use EuCon, more possibilities for use with the Mackie Control or HUI ...
Avid support (paid) does not respond to mail. Pretend not to have new short, all good practice not to respond and turn round.
It has now been 7 months since OS 10.8 is pulled, 8 months macbook pro retina that exists. Still no compatibility. You decide when your purchase if you want to use your equipment ...
I took a Behringer BCF2000 to help me, it is more stable, faster, more compatible and 5 times cheaper.
I will not make that choice.
