The effects are the classic reverbs, delays, chorus, flangers ... is a digital multi-effects (a / d / a 18bit 20bit internal calculations).
For the edition I know I have not tried. The connector has two in and two out configurable wish: two mono effects mono stereo .... over a trio of MIDI timing tempo, program change or Veloci (yes, really).
UTILIZATION
Operation is very simple, seamless functionality. The edition is complete with trs effects with no fewer than eight parameters changed. The manual is simple and concise.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound is great, warm and realistic reverbs and flangers are hallucinating if only one tries SETTINGS wacky. The chorus are ideal for bigger bass. I only restriction techno (acid, tehno industrial or electro) already did so almost never midiv my essay on the votes except qqlqs samples.
I too use combinations of effects that neither the double mono degade the fx.
Otherwise, reverbs, reverse or not, on an equal kills a punchy ...
OVERALL OPINION
For 4 years I use it I've never had a problem except for the backlighting does not work anymore
If compared to a lexicon alex there's no picture I keep my alesis.
I think even buy a 2nd.
