It's basically a programmable digital multi effects, midi, 19 "rack. 35audio Connections XLR or Jack 6.35

UTILIZATION

Once we got it the general philosophy of the device, programming is the hands down ... and with two good ears. The English version of the manual is far more comprehensive than the translations in French, Serbo-Croatian, Pakistanis etc (which we have nothing to f. .. finally) and allows for example to make a proper set-up of the beast according to the configuartion in which it is used.

SOUND QUALITY

Let's be clear: I bought it for reverbs and other effects applied to the voice config live (effects loop of the table). The background noise is there but bearable. It is mainly based on the settings of high input / output (at the table as the same effect). Well, now, who needs a ring modulator, a vocoder, a vinylizer and other effects to audio of a pinball machine? Not tried the amp simulator, but it's not why I bought it. The reverbs are honest and not metal (as has often been criticized in these columns) ... subject to reasonable use of equalization functions available on the reverb. The overall effect can be used in live ... if we do not change the patch in mid-song (1sec latency!)

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased last week for € 115, the value for money is unbeatable.
The reverbs are more than adequate, I particularly appreciate the combination chorus / reverb. Otherwise, why manufacturers (and Behringer is not alone) do they feel obliged to peddle the "special" effects that would hesitate to use it in the background of science fiction films in the series? Repeat this choice? Yes, if I face the same requirements (using live Buget tight).

Many algorithms are available as well as amp simulation. 100 factory presets, 100 made from 11 algorithms combined. Connection midi in / out by DIN plugs, no editing possible on PC, a priori (the manual does not offer it). Model Rack enough "custumisé". A digital display very small. For the price it is good enough

UTILIZATION

Manual configuration and incomprehensible! No example in the manual which includes two to three pages with no more; designations of effects obscure digital-only display a letter and three digits is not enough to editing complex.

SOUND QUALITY

Good reverbs, medium and poor for the rest overdrive. Used with the bass or guitar jazz (type Metheny).

OVERALL OPINION

If the rack is a very competitive value for money, the instructions are incomprehensible certainly translated from Japanese to English and French with the omission of syntax. I just bought it two weeks ago from the galley to get to edit and save any effect.
The overdrive sounds saturated or all presets are very light and small. A rack for table mix and sound rather than a priori instrument. I bought it for guitar, bass before mixing desk (jazz) and occasionally taking the microphone.

This is a general purpose multi-format 19''rack. The presets can be edited (3 or 4 criteria). The connector is standard.

UTILIZATION

The use of banks and factories users is super simple. Simpler than that, it is not possible. Just turn a knob to change the endless programs. An LED lights to indicate what type of effect you are when you are in "ffect." The (big) problem is the latency to move from one end to another or from one bank to another. On average one second! In other words, it is almost impossible to effect change when recording!

The quality of the effects of "base" is good and can bring a little more to the sound of my JV 1010. Other effects, like phaser and other should be used with great modéraion because sometimes lacks finesse.

Oh, another thing. The brand has certainly signed a contract with Eol or Zephyr! There are hurricanes that are triggered as soon as you pass over effects such as "compressor" effect or other dynamic ... It is really very average.

I use it for a week so I have not been able to use all of its possibilities. But what I've heard so far and the price at which I bought (50 € fpc on auction site), it is a choice I would do without hesitation.

UTILIZATION

It is easy to use provided you have read the doc. The effects are easy to edit with 4 knobs. The button "Balance / bypass" is a bit stuck with me so I take it off the hands and hop here we go again, but sometimes it's annoying.
The alphadial is also practical.
We can edit the settings about 8. Two parameters are almost always reserved for the EQ high / low so it's more practical parameters 6. For a single effect (like reverb or chorus), we can edit it quite accurately but to compound the effects (reverb + chorus for example), it has fewer parameters for each effect.

I find the screen a bit small, the blow is hard to know what it is when you select a preset! It is better to print a copy of the list of presets! It has a system of LEDs next to the screen to tell what kind of effect is selected but not very practical.

There are about 1 seconds to wait when changing effect. In the doc they say it on purpose ... Yeah ....

I love the knobs and was quick to register its patches. The MIDI implementation is good and easy to use, it is a really good point.

SOUND QUALITY

I use it behind my D-110. The reverbs are nice and rich enough, the chorus not so good (it seems that the modulation is done using a square wave!), The rest is ok, nothing to die for. Finally it should be his job anyway ...
