Paid $300
All tube amplifier with spring reverb with relatively low power and 12" speaker
No standby switch and no protective cover or retainers on tubes.
Overall very good with teh exception of no protective cover or retainers on tubes.
The botom line is that this amp is an excellent value for an all tube combo. All my previous amps were solid state and I was looking for something that could give more tonal control through the use of dynamics. This thing does it. It also as plenty of power for practice and small gigs. I compared this to an slew of amps in the range of about $200 to $1000 and this thig was the best deal going. I have owned other Peavey products and found their reliability to be very good. I relly wish this thing had a standby switch though.
