I will not go on, and, there's a lot of opinions ...
So it's a harmonizer with an expression pedal, a pitch or a chorus in the manner.
We have a choice of modes: Harmony in the octave but also to all the intervals (7, 7 b, 6, 5, fourth etc ...) that overlap to create different intonations depending the position of the pedal ... For example, one sixth the pedal up and pedal in a straight down ... It was therefore the direct sound with the sound tranposé at a time.
The pitch at different scale, the pedal down, the direct sound, the pedal is on the top two octaves, one octave, -1 octave, octave -2, -3 octave (Dive Bomber) or detune (1 ton and less, the whole guitar goes in D).
The mode chorus chorus presents two more or less pronounced and then the effect is modulated with the pedal.
In short a lot of things on the menu and it will take time to shop around and find what all this may well be useful ...
UTILIZATION
Archi-use simple, one knob to select the effect and a button to pedal Inrush ...
The small downside is that there are many different mode so you can hardly choose the mode by turning the foot ... it seems to be a luxury, but when I have a pedal that makes a lot of things I like to pass easily from one to another. It can be useful in moving a piece of a single octave to dive bomb mode or an octave ... we must add a MIDI foot controller for it ...
SOUND QUALITY
Sound quality ... it's hard to judge because it is a unique effect, without competition. The sound is distorted when you change octave ... but is it normal? Quality? A defect? At first I took it as a defect, and now I like the distortion it produces, it's pretty special, I like it. I do not use with my guitar but I used it once with one voice ... it's also his taff ', but not for.
[edit] There is a competitor, the electro-Harmonix HOG with an expression pedal, it has also looked good "cleaner". According to a video on YouTube could be implemented play a few tones easily and even the octave would produce very little sound distortion ... a check by testing for yourself [/ edit]
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year, I like most is that this is not an effect, but really musical possibilities and more ... it's more a transforamtion of the instrument sound in itself. A year later I still have not found how to properly use all modes, and that's excellenet for research and inspiration! Muse and Radiohead are some very interesting things with on a few albums all ... RATM but as yet we are not in the same style ... everyone is using it as he sees fit and it sometimes surprises ... I find myself making electro arpeggios and solos from Radiohead and Daft Punk ...
