« Fender DG7 »
Published on 06/30/01 at 15:00The Fender DG-7 is an ok guitar for those experts out there, but the beginner
it will play like a dream. It's an excellent starter, with the Fender name thats not
made in Mexico. For the beginners out there, impress your friends with the question
Do you have a Fender? Well I do...At the price of 149.99, it's perfect to start jammin'.
The Construction of the unit is one of the best features, straight out of the box
it played well, needed the truss rod adjusted a bit, but that's easily corrected by the
allen wrench provided.
There are to things that are not good is 1) The plastic nut, it's glued down, but after
about 3 string set changes it pops off, go to a local music store and buy a metal one
it is sooooo much better. 2) It goes out of tune quite often, but hey it's only 150 bones.
Construction is good, and playability is awesome!
Excellent Beginning guitar, or for those experts an awesome backup.
