« Fender DG7 »
Published on 02/03/02 at 15:00My nephew suddenly became interested in learing how to play guitar.
This was great news to me as I have always been a guitar fan even though
not a very good player. Just love the sound and enjoy playing. Anyway,
my nephew ( Amish) was exposed to the acoustic guitar sound and
was smitten by the guitar bug.
I thought what would be the best Christmas Gift to give him this year -
guess what -an Acoustic Guitar and some lessons by you know who -
the Old Uncle.
Looked around at the music stores but didn't like the cost and some
of the don't touch looks. I remembered a couple of purchases made
from Musicians Friend several years ago and decided to look on the
Net for a good deal. Man - I found a good one and purchased a Fender
DG7 with a "Free Gig Bag" for $119.00 - Can't be that.
The Guitar arrived safe and sound in time for Christmas. It is just the
right kind of instrument for a starter and great day not so hard on the
fingers or pocket book. I would recommend the instrument without
hesitation and would give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
Needless to say my nephew ( Josh) is enjoying and learning how to
play the guitar.
