De Gier Guitars & Basses introduces the High Cholesterol, a new humbucker-sized, quiet pickup with a nickel cover.
Yet, the sound is not that of a humbucker, it is a big, fat (as you might have guessed from the name) and loud single coil sound with much punch and definition.
The High Cholesterol will now be fitted in De Gier’s Reflection guitars as standard pickup from now on, but it will of course also be seperately available. On a side note, De Giers seems to plan the release of a vintage-sounding version of this pickup later this year.
