Amptweaker is now accepting pre-orders for the new Pro version of its BigRock distortion pedal.
The BigRock Pro is Amptweaker’s answer to its users who wanted a two-button version of their distortion pedal, just like on the TightMetal Pro launched last year.
The pedal is designed to reproduce the tones of the both the TightRock and FatRock, and more, thanks to the Fat and Smooth switches, among others. You can also boost the signal before and after the effect via two dedicated controls and a Midboost works with the output Boost knob for those who want more bite or cut through the mix.
Just like on the latest Amptweaker effects, you’ll find on the BigRock Pro the SideTrak effect loop that allows for sending directly the dry signal to another amp.
Features:
- Distortion pedal that can also work as a preamp
- Footswitch boost
- 3-band EQ with Smooth Edge and PlexEQ switches
- Mid Switch with PlexEQ control
- Mid Boost
- 3 effect loops: Universal, Boost with pre/post switch and SideTrak that works even when the pedal is bypassed
- Gain, Volume and Tight controls
- High gain switch
- Noise gain with internal adjustment
- Internal Fat switches for warmer tones
- Powered by 9V-18V battery or external supply
- Made in the USA
The US price is $300 and all the details are available at www.amptweaker.com.
