Pedal overdrive / distortion with germanium transistors.
Two separate and independent parts:
- A distortion with gain, bias, and volt volume. The small round overdrive to saturated fat edge. A little vintage-oriented anyway. The bias can switch from a round and soft with a very sharp and defined. The knob volts is used to cut the voltage available to simulate a battery end of life. It adds a little distortion to the sound. Fun, but I preferred a knob tone.
- An overdrive with gain, bias, tone and volume. The overdrive comes after the distortion. The gain is small but the sound is beautiful even if he tends to lack a little bass. The overdrive is very good other pedal before (like this in the same distortion pedal or a boost)

True bypass, powered by 9V battery or 9V transformer standard.
As almost all EHX pedals, the switch is a little hard a little noisy one.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is not very complicated but the parameters are a little unusual (bias, volt), we look a little at first but there is always a very fast sound.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is beautiful.
Both sides of the pedal sound great separately and both are a combination of highly efficient and versatile.

OVERALL OPINION

Very versatile pedal, but directed a vintage coat even if the distortion that can be obtained can sound very modern (playing with the bias).

The sounds are obtained from clean to heavy distortion colorful.
Really nice.
