UTILIZATION
So it's simple, you plug it plays! a lot! Immediately there is a cool sound, but it took me several hours to find the sound of death that kills!
So, the first channel as I like to configure sound on Metallica Ride the Lightning or ... And Justice for All Although the two standards are sound DIFFERENT!
And the second channel I dtest several weeks took me to configure it! Now I sound when I drop the santana gain, and a round sound for solos when I up ...
I put 9 because when I struggled to find its ultimate I like ...
SOUND QUALITY
So I put 10! It's fabulous, a transforms any amp into a beast! Wonderful! For now I play on a transistor Kustom 100W ... I intend to switch to light the end of the year 2007 with Peavey JSX can be one, I think the distortion of the amp will do, but I will never sell the Double Shot!
I use it with an Ibanez SA between / mid-range (about 450), sounded pretty good, but I did test with EMG 81/60, and I was afraid of my life, for the first time I feel like the sound of Kirk Hammet's solo on Master of Puppets!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for four months, I had a mt2 before, and again before ds2. To play Punk Rock, heavy metal or having a its own is that you (the Dime air a lot too). What I like most is the sound clean and tidy compartment of the Boss! But rglage of EQ is quite difficult to do, because if you put too much bass, treble go, vice versa, is a work of precision ...
200 New is not given when one is LYCEN ... But worth the trouble, for Boss s'crase to this beast ... Finally, do not compare a 106 with an Enzo ...
Only one thing to say, try all you can Distos MXR before buying!
