Wampler Pedal will launch tomorrow a Deluxe edition of its Plexi-Drive Marshall-style overdrive pedal.
The new Plexi-Drive Deluxe that will launch tomorrow, Friday February 27th, is based on the original Standard version to which Wampler added new controls for extra So-British pleasure.
You’ll find a new active 3-band EQ, low-end boost and Bright (high-end) switches, as well as a second pre-gain boost footswitch for a sound similar to that “famous overdrive with pronounced midrange”, according to the manufacturer.
Evidently, all these new control require more space, so the box size has been extended to 88.9 × 114.3 × 38.1mm. It is powered by a 9V battery or Boss-type adapter.
The Plexi-Drive Deluxe is true bypass and manufactured in the USA.
