CV and midi controller.
8 knobs turning switch 16 (a felt pad under each knob turning, not use it and it makes the platinum hit nicer). 8 switch parameterization.
Painted steel case silkscreened very well made (made in britain).
I have no memory of the number of different potentiometer that can create, but it is big enough.
Of memory, 64 editable programs 100%

This controller is a gas plant. You can program the control own MIDI (not all but only the cc line noon that goes with it). We can parameterize the behavior of switches separately, eg the first pressure is on, the second pressure is off, or the first pressure action, 2nd pressure another action, 3rd pressure another action.

Must master to know the MIDI program (and even in there knowing it breaks a little head saw all the possibilities of the machine). Otherwise there are programs already loaded by a publisher.

Apart from a few switch starting to tire the animal is robust and ages well.

It is probably exceeded in relation to the current controllers (more ergonomic) but it is still usable today. I'm pretty served to control ableton live.

VU capabilities that tools I do not separate (useful for old synth knobs without such TX81Z or microwave)
