It's been a while since I possess this instrument. I use it mainly in the context of meditation / relaxation but I'm already used for sessions of experimental music.

When I was in labor I flashed it (I have not tried other at the time).
The basic sound evokes the ocean but you can get the sounds of snare or other duller who can recall a tom or other percussion sounds only one bass lacks depth.

I would buy without any problems, but there are now models or you can change the amount of ball are inside and then adjust the effect, I probably orienterais towards a model of this type.
