Easy installation!
I use it to grow and "grassir" pieces of bass or synth
Used in Live without any compatibility problem!
I use it with my Korg Monotron my SDII Emx and my Technic KN2000
not remember having to manually but otherwise everything is simple lol!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one or two months
before I need to do more manipulation with several plugin for a similar or close to this effect, but with this plugin it is so much easier!

I would do this choice without hesitation!

If you haven't seen the Swedish electro-house group Dada Life's plug-in Sausage Fattener, you really have to check it out. As the picture above suggests, it is a very simple set-up. Two knobs: fatness and color. What can't be captured by the picture is how the sausage changes its expression as you modify the fatness knob. It's hilarious. His face gets super intense if you raise the fatness. At any rate I had no compatibility issues with this plug-in, and didn't feel any need to read the manual. It's a very easy set-up and extremely easy to use. Just throw it on one of your individual tracks, your sends/busses, or your master track and get to work.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

On my 2.7Ghz Intel Core i7 processor with 4GBs of RAM I have had no issues running the Sausage Fattener. It is a completely reliable, stable plug-in. On top of that, it really does add some grease, some fatness if you will, to your sound. It operates like a compressor and works magic on bass lines and synths, even drums tracks. What ever your input signal, the output will be considerably fatter. Suffice it to say the last two months have been a hilarious synthesis of fattening and distorting my sounds while modulating the face of Dada Life's extremely intense sausage. OVERALL OPINION

Overall, Dada Life's Sausage Fattener is a cheap, fun, effective plug-in that I would recommend to all. Although I have only used it in the context of electronic music, I could see it being effective in other genres if you spent time messing around with it. What's more, the aesthetics and the marketing of this plug-in are just something else. I really encourage you to watch the video, it's hilarious and totally crazy and has been one of the ways this plug-in has so quickly disseminated into the electronic music community. Bottom line: big names make big beats using Dada Life's Sausage Fattener and so should you!

* What is so special that you like most and least? , Dynamics, texture, sound, I use it for the time time to time in rhode Scarbee, on live guitars, bass, synths ... it can magnify the sound, a saturated peus or a lot, bring out the mids a lead instrument in a mix .. on battery is also very interesting ... for something tresss fat .. yum
