    Aramat Effects Green Machine

aramat effects Green MachinePublished on 12/16/03 at 15:00
    Price Paid: US $135

I correponded with Keith via email one week.. ordered it the next.. and had my slimy paws on it the next.. and I live in Australia.
    ..very happy

..easypeesy ..setting up is a non issue.. plugin.. and THE sound is there! ..a little tweaking later and you're in orbit!!
No manual is necessary.. its all in the ear.. the tone I've been hunting for..
It inspires me to play better 'cos I sound better..

    What I DON'T like? ........ er.. sorry can't think of a thing..

I've only just purchased the green machine but I reckon by looking at the
sturdiness of it ..it would outlast just about anything I could throw at it.. very tough looking unit.. hammond box, switch and …

I've only just purchased the green machine but I reckon by looking at the
sturdiness of it ..it would outlast just about anything I could throw at it.. very tough looking unit.. hammond box, switch and knobs are definitely of industrial strength.
    .....with a sound to match!!

Our band plays a mixture of 70s blues/boogie (skynyard.. zz top.. muddy etc.) and I'm using a 100w 'woogie' head (marshall clone) thru quad box 4 X 12 eminence spkrs.
An Ibanez RG440 and a LP (for slide).. on the floor: -> Crybaby wah -> Green Machine -> BD2 Bluesdriver -> Danelectro Coolcat chorus -> Ibanez DE7 delay.. I noticed I had to lift the bass on the amp head a bit ..but then it IS a pedal with a shitload of bite!
What can I say? ..I've used a considerable amount of o/d pedals in my time (20 or so years of various (Boss OD1s ..Jen.. BD2.. J-Station etc.)
But I gotta say I think I've finally got the one I want!!
Its got that "jangley" harmonic that other pedals seem to lose in the clip.. Its more full in its range than a tubescreamer..
with more middle being the keyword.. and at that price? ..unbeatable!

(This content has been automatically translated from French)
    Overdrive effect pedal analog format
IN 1 input, 1 output OUT + 9V power supply, potential internal 9V battery
    True Bypass, handmade (hand soldering)
    It has 3 control knobs
    - Volume
    - Gain
    - Tone
It features the famous chip JRC4558D

    UTILIZATION

Super simple, one branch and whatever setting it sounds.

    SOUND QUALITY

TS sound wonderful, sweet but that respects without compressing the signal band as a TS. The sounds are clear and warm, with the possibility of having very beautiful harmonics. The Knob Tone is very effective and very interesting nuances.
It is very versatile, depending on the settings ranging from a TS crunch has very vitamin. Pedal

    OVERALL OPINION

sought after by connoisseurs, (about 400 copies were produced) to the extent that its designer and manufacturer unique died (Keith VanDerSchaegen).

This pedal is wonderful as all the pedals of the mark.
I removed my OCD V4 to put this one, I found much more personality, even if OCD is a must. A must for
