UTILIZATION
The pedal could not be more simple and easy to use
SOUND QUALITY
I tried other home boss overdrive and distortion MXR, and they all had less gain, and its Beacoup less fat and rich as this. Do not rely too has its name because if it is of course perfect for the blues, it is more than enough to play rock, and (probably thanks to my Dimarzio SD), I use it to play hard rock 70s ( Montrose, led zep, scorpions: ...) and even the Heavy metal has the randy Rhoads: here is one of his solo with the pedal: http://www .youtube.com / watch? v = vnKrNyZJJk0
on the other hand, do not expect distortion worthy of the name, the sound will not you typed and vintage aps offer tons of sustain and feedback. The sound loses as a background with the gain, must not exceed 4 hours too, with 13 h volume. I also keep the knob "tone" at 10am.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year and I'm happy, the sound is very airy, natural, more fat than its competitors, and curiously enough generous on the gain, without ever being aggressive.
