I had a problem with the switch (rock / rawk) that broke.
Small size makes it ideal for pedalboard.
Alim not ideally placed (just next to the output jack)
No indication in out.
The electronics are super tight, and the risk of failure is obvious (my switch has dropped the first fall of the pedal)
Not built like a tank (at the Fulltone), I smell a handcrafted ...
However, the price is more than correct, so this explains it.
The look is very successful cons (but the decals will not last long on it)
UTILIZATION
Mini manual switch is less than a foot switch ...
But with this pedal, you will love one of two options (rock / rawk)
This is the first version, so no internal switch (in my opinion without much interest)
The stompswitch truebypass is of good quality.
The LED is a little weakling.
SOUND QUALITY
His level, I find this particularly well-calibrated pedal because it does not make a huge upstream volume, or gain.
Transparency is good, and the rock position is frankly very realistic.
The bass has crashed like a vintage tube amp (Fender or Marshall), the sound is not too bright.
In boost, there are better, but with the overdrive, the grain is majestic.
I love the sound position Rock, the other position (assumed to mimic a JCM) is a bit too bright for my taste.
The position is rock (to my taste) perfectly successful, and this pedal does not overlap with others because it has a very personal sound.
Simulation very successful, no doubt (9 / 10 just for that)
OVERALL OPINION
I tried many overdrive pedals.
This one sounds more like a real amp.
Low crashing (sag), it's very nice for the blues, and it is very well proportioned.
Aesthetic level, its level position (rock) is a good job, fun and boxed.
As against the position rawk, the obvious fragility of the object, the boost is not on top.
We forgive him quickly because the resulting sound is remarkable.
I think even with the right setting, you can make it sound a bit "blackface".
There is the Formula 5 if not for that ...
Good product, purchased for 100 €, happiness is cheap!
