Lightning Boy Audio Introduces Soul Drive Tube Pedal

North Collins, NY – (www.lightningboyaudio) Lightning Boy Audio (LBA) recently announced the the availability of Soul Drive, a new tube drive FX pedal.

Soul Drive is just the thing to warm up your instruments tone. This exciting new tube Drive stompbox features a NOS12AU7 vacuum tube, NOS paper in oil caps, and a signature "LBA Thunder Cap" handmade paper in oil cap.

At the heart of Soul Drive lives a NOS (new old stock) 12AU7 vacuum tube. Extremely low noise metalized film resistors, NOS Paper in oil caps, and of course the Lighting Boy Audio signature hand-made PiO tone cap combine to create a distinctive warm tone. Connections are made via reliable Switchcraft 1/4" jacks and offer superior signal transfer. Rounding out the features are a true bypass switch as well as bypass switch for the tone control, which adds a few dB of gain and a slightly tighter sound. Like all LBA products, Soul Drive is hand wired point to point using Teflon insulated silver wire and silver solder in North Collins, NY.

Designer/Engineer Mike Congilosi, has this to say about the pedal. "Soul Drive is an extremely versatile pedal that can be used with guitar, bass, or even keyboards.  It can be used in any musical situation involving electric instruments and amplifiers, where the player is interested in getting a warmer, thicker, more organic sound. It adds so much character to the tone and, it's all tube, so it's not de-warming or crapifying (it’s in the urban dictionary!) your tone with any solid-state muck. Go tube or go home!"
