«  overdrive I needed! »

Maxon offers this green overdrive, MXR style in a box .. 3 potentiometers (overdrive tone-balance), a rather soft under foot switch, classic overdrive.

UTILIZATION

The handling is quick and easy, one branch, we put everything at noon and it already sounds bien.Le manual is in English or Japanese and serves notice to the OD808, D & S, D & SII, PT999 .. In short, they have a valid instruction for many of their products in order to avoid the costs.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality is there. It goes overdrive with a nice crunch to a pedal that inflates his amps. The supercharged sound is there, no matter the amp. In Mesa Boogie Rectifier sound is clearer as a whole, more accurate. In E1 AMT with power amp EHX Caliber same effect, it tightens the bass and adds a bump in the mid which is just great to listen.

I use a Esp Ltd EC1000, a RR24 Jackson and Ibanez GRG170DX.

I use the finally gain overdrive at 9 am grand max, I play with the tone between noon and max and the same for the balance.

OVERALL OPINION

I learned a long time for an overdrive worthy of the name .. I have at home the Behringer TO 100 and the MXR Zakk Wylde first release .. The first is very fragile but cheap and the second too much gain .. What I like most is that it goes really well with everything, in all registers and what I like the least .. No, nothing to complain about. I bought € 94 in my music store and I do not regret at all, the quality is there, so for me it's perfect. This is the viagra big sound!
