Moniker Guitars is seeking funds on KickStarter and encourage people to invest with a limited edition of an overdrive and boost pedal.

The Hype Box stompbox combines a guitar overdrive and clean boost effect, and is available in a limited edition of 50 pedals for KickStarter only. Moniker adds that each pedal is hand built and painted and that it is also numbered.

The stompbox features a Hype knob for the overdrive amount and an Ego control for adding up to 12dB of clean gain of –6dB of attenuation.

The Hype Box is powered by a 9V battery or 9–18V adapter. It is sold $150 on www.kickstarter.com. The funds raised through this campaign will also help develop a semi-hollow guitar line and solid-body guitars are also available on their website monikerguitars.com.
