    Snarling Dogs Blue Doo

Snarling Dogs Blue DooPublished on 06/26/01 at 15:00
via Musician's friend, 69.99, because of the great reviews it had as seen on Harmony-central. I wanted a blues tube kinda tone.

It works! I can get a variety of distortion effects, including that rounded snarl that rolls out of the speaker that I wanted. Looks neat too, with LED eyes. Also, the true bypass works great.

They changed the switches, putting two on top - one is useless.

Seems great - its no boss construction, but it is solid.

    I like it!

    Overdrive and quite original type.
I have the first model (aluminum-colored box): 1 vol, 1 drive, a switch (snarl / bite), no knob of Tone.

    UTILIZATION

Given the number of controls, the sound palette is quite Reduces, but if you like the sound is more than enough.
to finish, it's solid, and it is large (larger than a big muff!)

    SOUND QUALITY

The pedals are supposed to "simulate" a light overdrive type 6V6.
I did not compare with a true, but it's even quite far from the drive channel of my classic 30.
    In fact I use is:
    - A boost of its clear on the classic 30's clean channel, it gives a more crystalline, Fender type, quite nice
    - Cruncher for the clean chann…

pushing the drive thoroughly, it was a fuzz type sound enough INTERESTED also.

    OVERALL OPINION

In short, because PDAL INTERESTED trs type, but it can happen, especially since it is difficult to find.
