- How long have you use it?

A friend has bought four, six months ago,
I did buy 2 speaker version facade but when the same content.

- What is so special that you like most and least?
Initially, the weight, the "seriousness" of the brand, the linearity of its rendering.

Everything went well for about 6 months,
But one day, without any warning (membrane noise, distortion or other), they slammed one after the other on an evening.

We are far, very far from 400W RMS INDICATED on the speaker and even more of 800W max.

at best it is 200W (which in reality far more than enough for a trip) but this should be indicated above. And a facade, it is less clear.

I can not be discouraged as the sound is good, but be careful what you inject into it, the manufacturer's warranty reffusé despite the insistence of the retailer.
An HP replacement will still cost 500 euros.

I am a huge fan of the brand HK long time, I repeatedly had the opportunity to use amplified Systmes of this trademark. In June I bought a pair of speakers PR Pro 15. On reading the message VeryHigh, which complains s'tre ripped off, I disassemble my speakers To verify his statements. HP is actually a Celestion Truvox 1525 Mount therein. CHARACTERISTICS by searching the site of Celestion, it s'avre announced that the power is 250W, with no indication if it is against an RMS value. I'm not acoustics but I know the power rating of a pregnant dpend not just HP, but also the engine of acute (I do not know how dveloppe that of the PR Pro 15). And the passive filter, absorbs there no power to pass? I do not think that a brand can also srieuse qu'HK embark on a scam, in addition to knowing that there is nothing to hide because the HP MODEL of the Celestion is listed on the HP it m me! It's easy to vrifier CHARACTERISTICS.
For my part I use my pair of Pro PR 15 with an amplifier 2 x 500W / 8 Ohms and all is well so far. I had the opportunity to compare the speakers of 400W/RMS other brands in the same price range, and each time the performance of the PR Pro 15 suprieur silent.
