Lucas Nano features “subcompact dimensions and a miniscule footprint, ” according to HK. Its 22lb package can be carried via built-in handles, and includes a dedicated subwoofer and built-in mixer, along with two satellite speakers.
The fist-sized satellite speakers can be mounted on top of the sub via HK’s Easy-Click connectors (requiring no additional wiring). They can also be mounted onto HK’s optional stand package, or onto traditional mic stands and connected via instrument cables for added placement options. In addition, a stereo link connection enables users to pair two Lucas Nano systems together.
Delivering up to 120 decibels of SPL output, Lucas Nano is also a monitoring solution for electronic drums and synths, gaming, and multimedia applications that can benefit from portable audio systems. The 3-channel mixer built into the back of the sub accommodates microphones, acoustic-electric and stereo instruments, plus media players.
Pricing & Availability:
The Lucas Nano will be available at select U.S. retailers in August 2012 with a U.S. street price of $699.00.
