I use it for 2 days.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I worked with a mpc 2000XL I loved, I kept it six months and sold for Ableton Live 8 and a mpd 32 and is really happy! The pads are certainly worse than 2000XL but to use I find them good. And it is used with a really surprising simplicity.
What is so special that you like most and least?
The best: simple, fast, efficient, comes with plenty of presets including Ableton Live is really the top. You connect, you play, no blabla.
The least: perhaps the pads but it does bother me absolutely not.
How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice? ...
The price may be a bit high but they like to akai inflate prices.
With experience, this choice I would do again in a heartbeat.
