APRS 2 years of use I realize that I never let the view ... This is what prompted me Radikal expensive to do ...
- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
The 8 XLR 48v in between, and the opinion of audiofanzineurs.
- For what purpose?
Studio scne.
- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
AsRock AMD 4200 +, 3GB of Ram, 750 GB HDD.
- Which instruments do you use or the Systmes? ...
Most of the time with Samson C01 8, or SM58/57 for scne. Rarely taken except for direct electric instrumentals.
UTILIZATION
- Installation is it without problem?
Installing the gear is done with a little apprhension to sinter the PCI card and the connectors that come with it. A longer cable would welcome t, but good. Cables with older printers, there is little hack extensions that work.
- Have you experienced any incompatibility?
YES! I had to follow the advice of the list yahoo aardvark.
- The configuration gnrale is easy?
NOT REALLY NO!
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
NOT REALLY NO!

- The drivers are stable?
NOT REALLY NO! In the words of Radikal, crashes are lgions, including Mac G4. Just most of the time to "recalibrate" the card (replaced in the 48 kHz and rolls, but a little way into the studio ...)
- Are they often put day?
Ah well ... not the
- What software do you use most often?
SONAR 5 and rcemment I update to SONAR 8. a roll, but sometimes the PC does rpond more, even in the service of the arrtant aardvark, nothing. I once lost an entire project in Sonar 8 as never worries with the 5, so it may be soft li.
- What you get lag?
between 11 and 40 ms
- How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment? ...
8 tracks simultaneous recording. Frankly, the fact is.
OVERALL OPINION
I'd mug on ebay are two different years for $ 350. I could compare with the presonus, but frankly, it is with cheap plasticky knobs on. Ok, the aardvark is not an ergonomic MODEL either, but it is solid.
A map like a 'must be pampered, treated with dlicatesse, and it will follow at the end of the world. She has the class card. Couple a G4 or G5 transparent, in a studio, it's design, I will not tell! : O)
Basically it is to get a Rolls Royce in his garage at the cost of 4L.
I advise you to make a team of product quality pro, home-studio price. APRS is sr lack of follow-up of the card are a weak point, but the activity and re-enable the community of aardvarkeurs make a strong point. The dev left with the source code for drivers, too bad, with a computer might have been trying to prniser the map.
