It is now over a year since I have, here are my impressions, in retrospect.

the main features are already written down ...
What motivated my choice? I wanted a pro-quality card with multiple inputs (it has 8), a direct input for guitar, and mic preamps too nazes. Everything is in the box :-)
Note also a 48V phantom power on the first four entries. Not to mention input-output noon.

Oh yes, there is also the ergonomics: the entry on the front of rack and the master volume control and headphone volume, super convenient.

UTILIZATION

Once the card is inserted and the internal rack connected to this one, we can say that the installation is complete. Note, the presentation of the internal card, extremely careful. She is beautiful, and even if we never see, it gives an impression of quality.

Time to install the drivers: ridiculous, everything worked fine right the first time. Same for updates to drivers who are out in the course of this year.

GETTING STARTED

After a year of use, I must say that I have encountered no particular problems, apart from a crash or two, but I think this was the rather rough ride my bike to who protested ...
Low latency, inaudible.
As for the number of tracks simultaneously, I come to the limits of my prc and my ram before reaching the limits of the card :-) all under Cubase and Reason in rewire.

OVERALL OPINION

In conclusion, a great card, very complete. The only downside is the pci, out of the question of the stroll around, or install it on a laptop ... hence the 9 / 10. (I leave voluntarily pretty color "pink toy" side of the rack, in order to have good sound)

But for a home studio, no regrets, it turns!
