I bought the EMU in 1820 following fairly glowing reviews from the specialized press and to be able to use samplers to EMU (Proteus, Emulator X).
My config (PC): Motherboard: abit nf7m
CPU: athlon xp 2500
Memory: 1024MB (Kinston DDR333)
UTILIZATION
Easy to install, provided you do not use the original drivers!
GETTING STARTED
I met with this card strangely intractable problems (several hours with the hot line of EMU, sympathetic but powerless): Unable to save directly into Sound Forge 7, incessant need to reset the ASIO driver in Logic Platinum 5.5. Can not save configurations PatchMix ...
Today I threw in the towel and went back to the novation speedio, less complete but much more stable and uneventful. Too bad, because the sound is excellent at EMU else
OVERALL OPINION
It is unfortunate that this type of product does not work every time on every machine because the user I'm lost his time and money ...
