I have chosen the following characteristics:
need for ASIO sound card, 4 registered and 4 separate outputs, very low latency, its price.
I use it for recording and listening I spend my always with mixer (recording electric guitars and dry, voice, percussion ...).
I utlise xp pc with a single processor at 2.53 GHZ HP
UTILIZATION
the drivers are very stable, no problems over time, the updates are not frequent, but as long as it works ca poses no worries. Most often I use it with cubase sx2, zero-latency direct monitoring, and in most cases 8 ms mixing.
maximum track reading a dozen and a dozen audio midi, note that in my system is my processuer the limiting factor, I never reached the limit of the delta 44.
GETTING STARTED
stable and trouble-free installation, no incompatbilité encountered, the interface is not enough fuss, everything is clear, everything is in the manual, you just read ...
OVERALL OPINION
I had to buy it around 2005, I did not utililité a rack with 150 connections in the products offered the choice to require a relatively simple like mine was, therefore, limited comparisons were fast. the last very good value for money no failure, no bugg it meets ever-present, if I had known I would have taken the Delta 66 for SPDIF I did not know at the time.
