I work as midi (with virtual instruments) that audio recording.
So I needed a card that does not have large latency and whose converters are quality.

For a long time now that I have, and I do not feel the need to change. She may be out of date compared to current cards, but I am very satisfied to use my home semi pro studio (film music).

It runs on a Windows XP with cubase and full of VST instruments.

UTILIZATION

The stability of drivers is not excellent, they can plant. But maybe it just happens to my windows that is not stable? how to know ....

The drivers are not updated because the card is old (over the catalog)

I am not limited divisible by reading the number of tracks. My processor withdraws before the sound card

GETTING STARTED

easy installation. Configuration asked me some trial and error.
no inconsistency.
Management and routing of input / thru (output has its own routing interface that requires little grip bus

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for ... a long time. Maybe 8 years.
The quality of audio converters is impeccable and latency steering VSYi is nonexistent

I remake that choice without hesitate in an optical sound creation semi pro.
