YOU HAD TRIED MANY OTHER MODELS BEFORE PURCHASE

Since this is not an effect pedal but a controller, there is not really need to test before, just read the manual to see if it is simple or not.
I compared:
-Loopers simple loop to x: I never understood what it was for, except to put a bypass on pedals do not, and have a complete loop pedal. Problem, they are all switched on at once, or not ...
MusicomLab-EfxIII: Well, with the south, but 600euros
Welfare ...: with midi, but it costs an arm
-RJM: need several devices, it is expensive and it takes up space
Or 14-gigrig PRO8: almost 1000euros is too expensive for an individual, and too big
-Voodoo lab: same as RJM, several boxes, and it is expensive.
The GEC9 not MIDI, but:
-Takes up too much space
-6 Loops
Programming-ULTRA ULTRA simple and fast, top notch I think
-40 Different presets

minimum: the integrated buffer is rotten.
Let me explain: it adds a lot of treble I think. I spent 3 hours to make comparisons with and without, through little or a lot of pedals, all sorts. I have evidence that audio cable, so as to say the best of the best. In the end, I saw that high-end pedals, and 2 or 3 pedals with integrated buffer, 2 voodoo lab power supply, super cable, it goes very well without the buffer of GEC9. I do not lose signal
Moreover, if the GEC9 is off, you can go through the non-buffered, is that the signal is not processed!

The buffer is the single point that black GEC9. But since I have no use, and that it is probably the same for many people, it has very little significance.
