Tek'it Audio has announced the release of a new freeware VST effect plug-in for Windows: 8kut.
8kut, an 8-band frequency cutter, is a stripped down version of Tek’it Audio’s Kutter plug-in, designed with DJs and live performance in mind, allowing you to cut frequencies on 8 bands.

- 8-band frequency cutter.
- Phase inverter, Effect bypass, Gain boost.
- MIDI automation.
- MIDI learn on all parameters.
- Use 7-bit MIDI Continuous Controller or 14-bit MIDI NRPN and RPN.
- Works in mono or stereo.
- Undo your changes to initial patch value.
- 32 Factory presets.
- Up to 128 user presets per bank.
