Friday’s Freeware: Virtual Creations
When a German web designer develops free audio plug-ins for Mac and PC, we at Audiofanzine have to check this out.
Virtual Creations currently has 4 effect plug-ins in VST and AU formats, two of them are Mac only and the two others for Mac and PC.
Being all free, you don’t have to choose between UltraPhazer, a “multi-oscillated” phaser effect that can be used on guitars but other sources too, and can also serve as a stereo enhancer and auto pan ; or 3LI73 Reducer (read Elite), a bit and sample rate reducer with switchable high-pass and low-pass filters.
On Mac, FunkFX will make your guitars and any other raw material sound funky, and can be used for creating wah wah filter effect for instance. UltraChopper is a volume and filter chopper with a 16-step sequencer and interpolation options.
You can download all these plug-ins and make a donation if you feel like it at www.virtualcreations.de.
Have a great weekend!
