Thread Disappearing files

I just upgraded to Mac OS 10.4.

Now however when I want to open my Digital Performer files,
many parts of finished projects are not found by the computer?!

Random parts are still there, but most show up as that "grayed out" missing file appearance.

Nothing was thrown away during my OS reinstallation...

Any clues?

if your computer's still under warrenty, let apple deal with it. its not worth your time
