Thread Sequencer in Reason 2.5

Hello everybody,
I just discovered Reason 2.5, and reaaly wnt to do stg with it.
The only problem I have is to record my song in the sequencer. For now, I'm just able to make patterns, like "eternal loops", which is funny, but boring after 4 hours of listening:)
I just have my PC, no midi devices attached to it.
Can smdy help me, like introduce me a easy tutorial (reason's one doesn't explain the way to proceed)
