Empress Effects Tremolo Plugin
One thing that I like most about this plugin is the warmth it exudes.  Its quite realistic and extremely easy to use.  I am very impressed overall.  I don't think it would be possible to have any dislikes.  It too simple and good sounding for that.  As for the price, I am currently saving up to get Diamond Pedals Tremolo pedal as I love there gear.  I only paid $79 for this one as opposed to over $200 for the Diamond.  If you want real high quality sound, you must go analog and you will be paying out the teeth for it.  If you are satisfied with digital audio, or you simply need one for computer based sounds, then this is a great deal.  I used to own a boss tremolo pedal and I think this thing is just as good if not better.
I would definitely buy this again.  It sounds awesome with all of my computer synths.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

In Logic 8 or 9 I havent had a single problem with it, no crashed or glitches. I give this a 8 out of 10 with out a doubt. It sounds great very warm very accurate it syncs right up with my daw. I have had this for about a year and used it on a mac and a pc computer and used it with several different softwares.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, This is a great simple easy to use plugin.  There has been no compatibility issues so far.  As for a manual, if you have ever used a guitar pedal, you should be fine.  The only thing that wouldn't be on an actual pedal is the DAW sync option.   Yes, the general configuration and setup is extremely simple.  Twist the knobs and flick the switches until you find the sound you want.  Yes, all the typical functions are easily accessible as they are right in your face.

Empress Effects Tremolo Plugin
The Empress Tremolo Plugin is a digital creation of the Tremolo Pedal that we all love. It has all of the features of the pedal and added features and bonuses that the pedals doesn’t have. If you have a chance to purchase the Empress Tremolo Plugin I suggest you do it right away.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Some of the new features are Accurate Sync, this is the ability to sync it right to your digital workstation program on your computer and play through a whole song and don’t have to worry about your tremolo going out of time, because it syncs up the tempo automatically with this new feature you wont have a timing issue again, I absolutely love this new feature that they have added. Some other cool features are Phase and stereo operation. The Empress Tremolo works great with mac and pc’s and does all of the work for you. Another feature that I love about the Empress Tremolo Plugin is the Pristine Sound, The Empress Tremolo has to be heard in order for you to see what I am talking about. Its extremely quiet, you wont find a better sounding tremolo. You wont even hear this thing at all, and for anyone with a bunch of gear running knows how noisy your home studio can get, you wont have a problem with that any longer, or at least with the Empress Tremolo Plugin.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall the Empress Tremolo Plugin is a great buy for someone who is looking for something that is extremely easy to use, you wont have a single problem getting this set up and running or a problem with it as far as it not functioning properly. It works great and its built to last, I purchased this for a low price of 85 bucks over a year ago and you may be able to get it cheaper now. Don’t waste your time searching for other products like this one. Just get this one, you wont be upset, you will be happy with your low investment.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

In Logic 9 and Ableton 8, I have never had any problems.  It works flawlessly and delivers remarkable tremolo effects.  So far, it has never caused a problem, no crashes, no hiccups.  I give this a 10 out of 10.  I am sure the real pedal is better sounding due only to it being an analog processor, but this thing sounds great.  Very warm and very accurate and having the DAW sync makes it so easy to dial in a tight tremolo sound.
I have been using this for about 4 months.
