Personally I do not agree with some about the test: I think that Nagra has completely missed its entry into the digital age (see my opinion on the ares ares C and P on this site):
I just tried the ARES M, preamp not live up to the mark that we were accustomed to the must when it came to analog (IV-S, E. ..), there are other products half the price with best quality.
I'll ask myself since SUPPORT, but first:
"It s'git product entry level commmercialisé now less than € 1100 TTC with micro Lem ... It is therefore surprising to build a critical comparison with much more expensive products."
- It's not what I say, the ares ares C and P are certainly more expensive but it's still very very mediocre, far from what could provide time to nagra analog.
So I'll give qques cheaper and at least as good (if not bad) quality:
- AEQ paw120 (http://www.aeq.es/eng/pr_paw120.htm) cheaper and faithful copy of the ares M.
- Zoom H4: € 300 and is comparable to the ares M.
