I had an Ares-M for 20 days. The ct gsm hand is great. We go out, we DGain ...
Problem: in the days Lumire trs standard (even cloudy) the screen is simply not readable, ca pose problem. The REC button is not practical, since misplaced and hard trigger. And above all, by plugging a microphone via the XLR accompanying the mouse, and that you are recording in a quiet means a tic-tic rgulier which I think must be the registration of flows on the internal memory. Despite the default, the Ares M is above a Edirol R09 for example, it is a factory breath. If you take it even when, do take the microphone Stereo LEM. Red is a joke unfortunately.
In short I contact my supplier and asked him to change.
So I pass the Ares PII + and l. .. great. The sound quality is really high that the trs pramplis produce little noise. With an 8 GB card was 8 hours of recording in PCM 48Kz 24b. The ergonomics are great because it is empty. With quality mics (Neumann KM184 of 48v.) One enters a quality I wanted. All this in portable format. The Ares PII + is 3 times the price of the Ares M, but we finally rel satisfaction and uncompromising.
