[Musikmesse] New Zoom H5 pocket recorder
Zoom introduced at Musikmesse 2014 the new H5 portable stereo audio recorder.
The Zoom H5 retains the main features of the H6, including the interchangeable microphones, you will even be able to use the mic of the H6 on this new model. Also, Zoom says that the H5 offers the same audio quality as the H6, including the same signal/noise ratio and maximum gain.
As for the rest, the H5 features a stereo microphone with shockmount, and offers a maximum level of 140dB SPL. You can use up to 4 simultaneous inputs and get separate line and headphone outputs.
The H5 can also operate as a USB audio interface with a Mac or PC, and even as a USB microphone with an iPad.
