Amp Simulation (32)
Effects.
See previous opinions.

UTILIZATION

Using fairly simple (a commme amps) but there are two drawbacks:
* You have to press two keys simultaneously to access certain settings
* The connection to the PC via MIDI is a bit complicated
That said, it is very practical because you control everything from software damn well, you can rename and store their presets (125 in the Vamp and all you want on the PC ;-)) or download from the Web

SOUND QUALITY

Very good sound quality! No idea of his amps simulated, but it sounds! Just one detail: I agree with an earlier opinion: the sound is amazing alone, really stunning ... But it is difficult to insert into a mix (be it the sound is dispersed in the audio spectrum)

Noise present but small, easy to remove (no noise gate 15)

The effects are good but uneven (ping pong / rotary to shit and delay / tremolo / compressor very correct), the reverb (which can be adjusted separately) m'emballent do too much, I find them rather cold and metallic, but there are varied enough to make sauce.

Added June 28, 2004:

Looking back ... I love my vamp! With a little practice you get to tweak the sound so that it fits in a mix ... and then distos are so numerous and varied that enough is enjoyable! have all these amps on hand it's so convenient! when I compose or when I try to give her what my guitar for such occasions, I have the opportunity to find a distortion that makes the music perfectly as I have in my head (rather fat and purring? rather garish and skinned or type "long complaint" ... or just a big song for three explosive agreement (who said linkin park?), everything is there!). Well of course, is not qualified as opinions, but I tested a number of simulation software amp ... and it is not joy ... the sound is perhaps easier to wedge in a mix, but what a hassle to give it some scale! Strongly Vamp 3!

OVERALL OPINION

An unbeatable value for money no problem! Oh yes: It's really ugly!
