Amplified using this desk for about a year.
What one enjoys is the sound (associated with peavey pro speakers, it is back in the table above song, electro-acoustic guitar and keyboard) and effects that are sufficient for now. The next laptop in his bag is useful for déplacements.Et then he has a beautiful face!
The knobs are cheap (plastic), there is no Mid control per track, and the eight tracks do not all have the same input level, attention! Noted that one can enter directly without an electric guitar amp intermediate we tried ... and we do not make again!
Before this model, we played on a yamaha emx660. The yamaha power mixer is nice also, but the sound is better defined on the GigRac. We hesitated with the Yamaha EMX312SC who had the advantage of compression on first 4 channels and we finally chose the reputation and the sound of that soundcraft.
The value for money is worth up to € 500 in my opinion, beyond that, there are a lot more competition.
With experience, one remake that choice.
With a larger budget, we would turn to the GigRac 1000 and other brands to better individualize returns.
