    Made for the road

    Yamaha EMX212SPublished on 03/03/13 at 22:30
Yamaha EMX 212S is a 12 channel powered mixer that is made for the road. The construction of this mixer is heavy duty and will last a long time. There are 16 digital SPX effects on it, echo, chorus, flanger, distortion, reverb, and a few other ones are on it. All of these effects can be added very quickly at the touch of a button. There are EQ’s on the main and monitor channels so you can get the exact sound you want or get out that feedback quickly.
There are 12 input channels and 4 for microphone with phantom power. This whole mixer only weighs 22 pounds and is made for use every day. It have used this mixer as well as seen this mixer used for hour upon hours and it has never over heate…

There are 12 input channels and 4 for microphone with phantom power. This whole mixer only weighs 22 pounds and is made for use every day. It have used this mixer as well as seen this mixer used for hour upon hours and it has never over heated or shorted out. I have seen it dropped and just about thrown and it has never stopped working. I am pretty sure as long as it doesn’t get wet it will work forever. If it doesn’t Yamaha stands by their products and I am sure they will not have a problem working with you to solve the problem especially with most of their products coming with a warranty automatically.
The only thing that I didn’t like about this mixer is the amps and the humming that I would hear. I would not hear this all of the time just sometimes mainly after the mixer and speakers would be on for a long period of time. This could have been the speakers, cords, or any number of issues but it just seemed like the amps in this mixer would start to make the unit “hum” after a while. This didn’t happen often just sometimes and it really was not that big of an issue unless everything was completely silent. Overall, this is a perfect mixer for the road and it is affordable for any budget.

This mixer is excellent quality. The sound quality meets my expectations. It is 2 * 200 watts stereo. I use it in a home studio. I connect my PC to get it GP6, and I use a stereo plug see my boss GT8 live. The settings are reliable and accurate. The seven band graphic equalizer provides a great advantage for setting optimal output frequencies. It also has a monitor output for the return stage. This output is mono, but it also has a 7-band EQ. The main output can be switched to mono mode. It has a bass boost for amplified bass.
The only negative point that I gripe is the lack of a headphone output. It would really be a plus to be able to play without bothering the world, especially in the …

    I recommend this material.

I used this console for two years in a group, and rp for small scenes.
I had tried before other more compact models such training pass, that convinced me to figure their sound quality.
So I say this with hindsight that the amp is a good quality price ratio. They intended for amateur groups who do not want to bother with tons of hardware or to take the head. Power issue, there are more than enough, unless you want to do a concert in a stadium ... Ct rglages, there is the essential and employment is very easy. There are 2 RCA line inputs for connecting eg a CD player or laptop, the XLR or phone jack ... and traditional rglages treble / medium rather / bass effects and repartition + qualis…

There are 2 RCA line inputs for connecting eg a CD player or laptop, the XLR or phone jack ... and traditional rglages treble / medium rather / bass effects and repartition + qualiseur. There is however no possibility of panoramic or compression effects. I changed the console as there is on this amp that the possibility of a return rglage, which ncessite on stage to make an overall return for everyone for example by a Doubling of the facade, and of reserves such as auxiliary rglages for a return to the singer who rserv Defines its parameters. I also need more entries.
MOST: Lger, not bulky, easy carrying
: Easy to use, can be made quickly rglages
: More than enough for a group that Get You Started

    THE -: one auxiliary return
    : No pan or compression
: The rubber feet which are removable to make the right console are easy to lose ...
