That's it I started I took it, the MEP 7000.
http://www.pioneer.fr/fr/products/44/106/462/MEP-7000/specs.html
Already some details, the reader does not read the video (DVD and DIVX) as one might think, except the CD-G (karaoke).
It is good MIDI controller for virtual dj.
I have not tested the software "DJS" provided with this dual-drive so I can not give advice in relation to that.
How long have you use it?
1 month
- What is so special that you like most and least?
+ + + Console to mix with his size 19-inch rack and take it
not much room
+ + + 4.3 Inches LCD screen is clear clear
(With drop-down menu as browser on a PC)
+ + + The "CD text"
+ + + Effects (Jet, Roll, Wah, Scratch)
+ + + The ability to connect two USB devices simultaneously. (The only pioneer to do so)
+ + + You can mix the same song mp3 from an external drive or USB key on
Two turntables simultaneously. (The only pioneer to do so)
+ + + The ability to plug a USB keyboard to search mp3 file,
by typing the name of the song (it works well).
+ + + The SL 1 serato midi works fine
(It is integrated natively with no mapping software to do) I tested and agree
It was the title that appears on the serato bpm and the platinum mep 7000 times
--- The plateau (jog dial), which measures 8cm in diameter will not satisfy fans
from scratch.
--- The lack of a visual indicator for the plate as the cdj 400, 800, 1000 ...
--- It happens to some bug with mp3 and we need the hard drive is absolutely fat 32
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I tried mainly pioneer (cdj 400, 800), the lower end (American Audio, Gemini etc ...)
- How would you rate the quality / price?
€ 1299 in Thomann ( https://www.thomann.de/fr/pioneer_mep_7000_bundle.htm ) 's already a good amount but the quality Pioneer is to go, no worries for that and then finally the price is even cheaper than 2 Pioneer CDJ 800 (€ 1320 and 2)
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Yes, because I mix with MP3 files and I think it's the most comfortable deck to mix with mp3 free pc today.
This double platinum allows me to enjoy my external hard drive with the LCD screen.
This is a great comfort to select his songs (mp3 files) from the CDJ 400.
It is a reliable and robust real platinum looking to the future.
