Hi y all
i have a mxl 960 tube mic and a focusrite trackmasterpro platinum

i was wondering why the hell i need this pre amp for since there s so many plug ins i could use with protool 7.4

i have a mbox mini using protool LE
is it really necessary to go thru my focusrite before hitting my mbox mini
or could i go straight to the soundcards and then use plugins to set the vocals ?
