Best value:
Excellent
Microstrip hyper cardioid directivity. Ugly as any in look. Effective but the noise level.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over ten years. Bought to the departure for the sax, but it should very well on almost everything. Before a guitar amp, not too shrill voice, strings, percussion (couple).
A model is insensitive (as is often the ribbon mics). Very good report qualitprix (half price for a Royer for his very near). The sound is free of aggressiveness and a local portion of a sound not too good, it can save many situations (because of its lower sensitivity). Before a guitar amp, coupled MODEL another, it also makes good. Saxophonists love this microphone. With exprience, I would do this choice once sr.
