Ribbon microphone, high-end comes in a small wooden box, placed in a luxurious setting. Very nice subject, relatively small. The set is really classy.

OVERALL OPINION

This model is being tested at home, a friend bought but has not yet had time to test ...
So that's one week that is bonded to a guitar amp to about one meter off-axis, oriented head forward (the user manual is excellent, a real super little book learning). There is also an SM57 stuck to the bowl of this little amp.

I brought home several guitarists and a few pros professional sound engineer, and all were on the C. .. : The sound is amazing ...

Well, the rest of the acquisition system is not bad either (121 + SM57 Royer Microphones> Audio GTQ2 Aurora> 3200 + table Soundcraft Soundscape Converters / Apogee IO896> SSL / Soundscape SS32) ...

I have a whole fleet of different quality microphones (on loan from the Neumann-to-Milab always, to all Audix, AKG, Shure, Audio-Technica ).... But I must start saving for one of the Royer 121 ... Arg <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" />

This ribbon mic did not entirely convinced about the voice, I always prefer the Milab why (retail presence, excellent micro!). Not tried on the outside of the bass drum.

The depth of the guitar is amazing, it's the fourth time I take a slap with a microphone (a Neumann with the first cable into a Folk, the second with a voice Milab, the third with a battery pack on an Audix and now this one on electric guitars) ...

So sure, it's a micro rather expensive, but the look, build quality and especially its my left speechless. Expensive, but fully justified, we touch excellence.

I bought one as soon as I can!
